📢 Career Guidance Talk: The Automotive Microelectronics Industry
On June 29, 2026, from 17:00 to 18:00, the Master in Microelectronics will host its first Career Guidance Activity. Alberto Rodríguez Pérez, Director of the AMS Design Group at KD, will deliver the online talk "From Silicon to System: The Evolution of Automotive Optical Transceivers at KD".
He will discuss the challenges of scaling a microelectronics concept from a startup idea into a high-volume automotive product, the real-world difficulties of analog design in harsh environments, and how the role of an IC designer evolves during company growth.

Presentation of the USECHIP Mentoring Plan 25/26
The USECHIP Chair launches the 2025/26 Mentoring Plan, aimed at Master's and final-year undergraduate students of the University of Seville in disciplines related to microelectronics.
This plan aims to bring students closer to companies in the sector, facilitating paid external internships, training, and co-tutored Master's Theses.
