GENERAL DESCRIPTIONCoordinators: María José Avedillo de Juan y Óscar Guerra Vinuesa Faculty: Doctors of the Department of Electronics and Electromagnetism (University of Seville), Department of Electronic Technology (University of Seville) and the Institute of Microelectronics of Seville (IMSE-CNM). Concentrations:
Students can also take a so-called generic concentration, with no focus on a particular field. Orientation: Researcher with virtual teaching (distance learning). Credits: 60 ECTS (90 ECTS are offered). Offers of admission: 30 Admission requirements: The Master is suitable for Graduates, 5-year baccalaureate Engineering Degree, 3-year baccalaureate Engineering Degree, graduates with a degree (equivalent to 240 ECTS) in the areas of knowledge related to the Master. Accreditation of basic knowledge in Electronics; Circuit Theory, Signals and Systems; Electromagnetism; Computing; and Software and Simulation Tools is required. Advanced knowledge in these fields will be positively valued. If the accreditation of the adequacy to the Master profile were questionable, the final admission will depend on a virtual interview with the applicant. The student should have access or have the computer and telematic resources that enable teaching in a virtual environment. Objectives: The Master in Microelectronics aims to educate professionals with scientific, technological and socio-economic training in the field of Micro - Nano electronics and Micro - Nano electronic systems, both in their own development and in the design and integration into applications on demand. The Master aims to provide students with a modern, updated and useful perspective in Micro- and Nano-electronics Science and Technology. The primary objective of the Master is to train students for them to succeed in the labor market and to get high scientific and technical qualifications at teaching or research level, either in the public or private sector. In particular, it is proposed to exercise students in disciplines to conceive, design, verify, manufacture and test integrated circuits and systems, especially in submicron technologies. Overall, we intend to promote high-quality scientific and technological training using distance learning (e-learning). It is intended that students acquire skills and knowledge in each and every of the following profiles:
